Member's of Parliament are today debating the European Union (Referendum Bill) in the commons today. Ian Davidson Labour Co-operative for Glasgow South West spoke passionately and paid respect to UKIP for pushing the issue to the top of the political agenda. Liberal Democrat MP's called his comments on their position regarding the bill as 'childish.' Bill Cash, Conservative, for Stone says that 'around 35 million people have been disenfranchised by giving away more and more powers since 1975,' He voted for the single European Act, but was determined to fight the Maastracht Bill. 'There is evidence,' he continued, 'that there is no doubt whatsoever this is about political union!, It was about creating a new European Government, but the reality is we have now reached a two-tier Europe between the Euro-zone and the European Union itself.'
